![]() ![]() Here is the code for your desktop launcher that is used on my embedded deviceįrom time to time I would like to be able to run gateway on a device with debian buster and arm64 processor to do very trivial tasks. For example copy from /home/johndoe/Jts on X86_64 to /home/johndoe/Jts on the ARM64 4. Once installed, copy the JTS directory from the X86_64 to the ARM64 embedded device. Make sure the directory paths are the same on both machines 3. The install the gateway without error onto an X86_64 machine per IB instructions. However, everything is still functional and all you just have to take steps to bypass the install script. Basically, the gateway installation script fails when you try to install on the ARM64. The same setup can be installed on a raspberry Pi3 or Pi4, Tinkerboard or any other ARM device with reasonable computing power. I cross compile the C++ libraries and user interface using the Codeblocks IDE. No need for a display, mouse or keyboard - just a power wire. ![]() The device is easy to transport since I use it in VNC in headless mode. I travel a lot and spend a fair amount of time at my farm in Michigan but I reside in Florida. ![]() I have been running on an ARM with embedded linux for several years now. My GUI is written using wxWidgets and can be run from either the embedded ARM system or from my desktop. I use a small, postcard size ODROID XU4 ARM SBC to run the gateway and twsapi and GUI if desired. First of all you can accomplish what you want. Nopeva, I wrote the response to the thread you have linked to in your post. ![]()
